Koficore Studio Open New Year's Day
Minneapolis, MN: The Koficore Studio will hold its third annual New Year's Jam fitness classes on New Years Day, January 1, 2009. Cardio Bootcamp class will be held from noon–1 p.m and will follow with a Vinyasa class by Rhiannon Wynn from 1:15pm - 2:15pm Each class is $18.00 or $30 for both. All levels are welcome to attend both classes.
The BOSU Bootcamp incorporates basic exercises including squats, lunges, push-ups and crunches in a cardio/strengthening class format that especially focuses on the core region – the abs, hips, and back. These exercises help provide balance and strength for the rest of the body, benefiting everyone from fitness enthusiasts of all levels. Bootcamp participants will use a BOSU® Balance Trainer throughout the class. The BOSU is a versatile exercise tool that helps shape, tone, and strengthen the body's core.
Vinyasa flow format, this class will challenge your strength, flexibility and balance, while deepening your mind-body connection. This is a all levels class, so it is the perfect format for beginners as well as those experienced in their yoga practice. About the Koficore Studio: The new Koficore Studio is located in the beautifully renovated Frank and Anne Semple Mansion carriage house on Franklin Avenue. The studio offers a private environment with convenient parking, washrooms and showers. A team of instructors with areas of expertise -- nutritional consultation, acupuncture, athletic training, massage, yoga, dance, Pilates, and personal training -- completes the Koficore team.
