"It's not about size and strength; it's about becoming and staying healthy. To stay in optimal condition, it is always best to train smart, not hard."
Everything we do evolves around a movement; some pattern where we are responsible to move. A push, a pull, a twist, a bend, a squat, and a lunge are basic movement patterns that not only some people use, but everyone.
If practiced correctly these tools will bring the average human being to optimal health. As a student of movement I find great pleasure and responsibility in teaching these dynamics. Along the way I have found many clients whose faulty movement patterns created a muscle imbalance in their bodies. These imbalances usually stem from weak core musculature, further demonstrating how vital and imperative functional core training can be. It is the essence of everything. |
